The heatwave finally ended with a massive thunderstorm and a nice double rainbow

had some interesting days off, held a snake, stroked a shark, had a beer in the original bar from TV's "Cheers" in Boston, got some sunburn. Currently sweating out a 35 degrees C heatwave, so spending as much time in the lake as possible.
Some of the kids are heading home today so had some emotional farewells (and some sighs of relief), along with the realisation that camp is more than half over and time is flying by...

Got very sunburned on day off on monday, now its raining cats and dogs. More interesting details to follow when I get camera usb cable to upload accompanying photos.

Settled in to the routine, the kids are all cool and sporty, weather is scorching hot, and days chilling out teaching archery make the last twelve months of futile office work seem a lifetime ago....

However today is the fourth of July so all the Americans are getting a bit excitable, hopefully won't spoil my day off in "Portsmouth"!
